New Jersey

The 100 Delawanna Avenue data facility is located in Clifton, New Jersey and is owned and operated by Fortress Integrated Technologies. Solar VPS operates under a unique partnership with this facility allowing us priority access, customized rack and network design and 24 hour remote hands support. All servers are housed in high end Middle Atlantic data cabinets with locking front and rear doors. Racks are powered by dual 30 amp circuits and 18 port Baytech remote power control units. Rack cooling is handled by top mounted 10 inch 825 CFM high speed fans and forced air from the 18 inch raised floor.

Power

The data center provides redundant power systems with an Inline power backup using Liebert UPS system and an onsite Caterpillar generator with 4 days of standby fuel. In the event of a power outage, the power management system starts the generator within seconds and transfers power to the UPS for charging. The Liebert UPS, controls and constantly monitors the quality of power so that all equipment receives 120-volt power, all the time. Moreover, the UPS and generators are tested weekly to avoid power disruptions.

Cooling Systems

The data center is safeguarded by redundant indoor cooling systems that are kept at an optimal temperature. The cooling systems offer an accurate and reliable control of humidity, airflow, and room temperature that improves the working conditions for the susceptible electronic equipment. The data center has been set in a place with 7,500 sq ft of raised flooring with 8, 20-ton AC units.

Cabinets

The data center offers high tech key locked cabinets that are fully secure and as per an individual's requirements. The cabinets come with both front and back lock and their bases are attached to the floor. All the cabinets allow for increased air circulation and their side panels can be detached to enhance expandability.

Security

The data center has a high level of security, guarded by 24/7/365 digital surveillance of the facilty. The closed circuit cameras throughout the data center monitor both the interior and exterior facilities around-the-clock. In addition, keycard locks are located on all the paths to sensitive areas and biometric palm scans restrict access to authorized personnel only.

United Kingdom

The BlueSquare House is the original site for the BlueSquare data center concept. Opened in August 2006, at 10,000 sq.ft. in size, it provides up to 16 Amps per cabinet location with N+1 redundancy at all times.

Power

The data center provides redundant power systems with an Inline power backup using Powerware UPS systems and multiple 2 megawatt diesel generators with ample standby fuel. In the event of a power outage, the power management system starts the generator within seconds and transfers power to the UPS for charging. The Powerware UPS, controls and constantly monitors the quality of power so that all equipment receives 230-volt power, all the time. Moreover, the UPS and generators are tested weekly to avoid power disruptions.

Cooling Systems

The data center is safeguarded by redundant indoor cooling systems that are kept at an optimal 22°C +/- 2°C temperature. The cooling systems offer an accurate and reliable control of humidity, airflow, and room temperature that improves the working conditions for the susceptible electronic equipment. The data center has been constructed with 10,000 sq ft of 430mm raised flooring and an N+1 Airedale Air Handling system.

Security

The data center has a high level of security, protected by 24x7 secure entry via swipe card system with 6-layer entry which restricts access to authorized personnel only. The data center was built inside its own secure compound, with 3-meter fencing and electric entry, including anti-tailgate systems.
