I personally have this thing for SLM... It's either one of those things that you love or hate. I just think SLM runs so much better than a UBC based VZ VPS.

That was my point actually .. 90% of my niggly problems problems disappeared after the switch from UBC to SLM. The way UBC terminated process would on the rare occasion, put my system into a state that it could not auto-recover from on its own, hence why monitoring would have been more useful to me in that case.

Man the three of us seem to take the threads a bit off topic heh? The forum had not had any posts in 5 months or so and then all of the sudden it's being "attacked"... Poor vBulletin is being put to the test :p
