That's interesting, I'm building a new workstation and a new file-server here, and was planning to put Vista on both, but both will be running RAID10. Me'thinks I better do some research on drivers before I get to the O/S install (plenty of time, I only just got the motherboards and power supplies in yesterday and need to order a bunch of drives yet).

Makes me sick to hear people saying they are building a file-server at home...IN THE UK:p. As the connection I have at home is crap...2 MB lol. Smack bang in the middle of a residential estate, not far from a town and British Telecom can only give me 2MB!! What's this all about :confused:haha

He didn't necessarily specify it's for home use, but I've also got an internal file server setup at home. I decided to shut it down to conserve power, since I don't use it much and always leave my workstation up, and it serves my purposes equally well to run one virtualized instead.
Virtualization? Green thinking? What is this, SolarVPS?

Arh...yer, I see what you mean lol. He could of meant work :p. Oh well, my net connection at home is still cr@p lol Does anyone else have a rubbish connection?

You decide :D It hasn't been running at optimal speed the last 6 hours or so and I am suffering major packet loss... But aside from that, I would say it is half way decent :)
