Wow, that is pretty bad ;)

And that speedtest is one of my bad ones :D

Normally I can hit 24000+ :p

cartwright118:
LOL. I know, I must admit, its not always that bad. Usually about 1000+ BUT its still crappy.:(

And shhh lol I dont need to know that :P 24 Flippin meg...I wish !!!

I've learn't now that its just something I have to live with whilst im still living where I am. As I've tried everything to try and get a faster speed, and its failed haha.

Been in touch with British Telcom millions of times trying to speed it up, and they are saying..no. The speed I'm getting is the maximum they can provide for my line.

Comcast ;)

But that's SpeedBoost at work.  Neither of those speeds can be sustained.  But I wouldn't snub 6mb down sustained anyway.  I wish I could sustain high than 368k up though

You never actually receive the speed your ISP says your going to receive anyway which is VERY annoying and frustrating. UK ISP's seam to only give you like 400k ish upload speed, it might be some kind of law in the UK for residential lines to be a certain speed (I'm no expert lol).
