Retriever II:
Actually Comcast has been very good about delivering promised speeds.  I'm promised 6mbit down and that's exactly what I get.  Except for the first 30 seconds or so of SpeedBoost then my speed is "to infinity and beyond".

But they promise peanuts for upstream, and that's exactly what I get as well :p

And as far as getting what I'm promised from Comcast, I have been very pleased, considering the only other thing is Bellsouth DSL.

FiOS is coming into my area within the next 6 months, I may have to give it a try as well ;)

I think it'll be a while for FiOS to migrate from the eastern half of the state.
