Softaculous Addon

I wanted to know whether SolarVPS offers Softaculous or not ?
Couldnt find it on their site. I dont want Fantastico as its a lousy software.

We don't offer it, though we were in very brief discussions with them about a year or so ago... I kept trying to encourage them to get a bit more active on our forums to help generate interest, and they never followed through with that.

It seems to be a decent competitor to Fantastico, however, the demand for it was very low... maybe if more people wanted that, then we could consider adding that into the mix as well.

Many people have suggested to go with softaculous.
What would you take if you were to buy an auto installer.
The 140 scripts do tempt me

We'd have to have at least 50 customers wanting (and committing to) getting Softalicious.  Like I said, we haven't completely ruled it out, but until the demand is there, it's not something we can pursue at this time.  :)
