Along with our "Business is Personal" mantra, we conduct our business around our customers. We listen to the feedback our customers give us and we use that feedback to improve our services. The satisfaction of our customers defines our service and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction comes first.

Solar VPS operates around our "SolarGreen" initiatives. Through our partnership with Green Living Ideas, we work to help our customers to be green, our company to be green and the small business community to be green.

Solar VPS began and has continued to flourish through the use of virtualization technologies. Our Parallels Platinum Partnership allows us to work closely with developers, product managers and support technicians on the best virtualization software available today. We use virtualization in all areas of our business and we work to further its adoption into small businesses around the world.

In addition to our virtualized infrastructure, providing customers an automated service delivery platform is crucial to our continued success. Seamless order delivery, upgrades, downgrades and migrations allow customers ease-of-management. We truly believe that virtualization and automation go hand-in-hand.

We provide our customers with true 24 hours, 7 days per week, 3h25 days per year, technical support. We are available via our secure help desk, live chat and emergency toll-free telephone. Our customer base reaches around the globe and delivering exceptional service to all of our customers is our main priority.
7. We're More Than a Host
In addition to providing excellent customer service and support through our Solar VPS brand, we expand upon our expertise in hosting and virtualization to include our parent company Solar Virtualization Technologies Group (Solar VTG) and our sister company MessageWire. Our additonal brands and companies work to further the SaaS (Software as a Service) model of service offering.
8. We Own Our Hardware
Unlike many hosts, we own all of our network and VPS hardware. With our "SolarGreen" initiative, overseeing hardware purchased to ensure that we use only the best and and most energy efficient hardware is extremely important. In addition to our VPS hardware, we are highly selectoive about choosing only the highest quality enterprise class network hardware.
9. We Manage Our Network
While many VPS hosts colocate their servers in data centers around the world, very few own and operate their own networks. The Solar VPS networks are 100% Cisco based nd all new Solar VPS ip allocations are assigned directly from ARIN and through RIPE certified resellers in the UK. All routers and switches which use BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) to annouce our ips via several ip transit providers in every data center we use. Our network is managed by on staff Cisco Certified Professionals.

Based on client feedback and a changing marketplace, we continue to expand our service offerings to suit small and medium businesses in addition to working with clients to improve every aspect of our current service offerings.
How We Are Going Green
Solar VPS is committed to promoting and adopting energy efficient measures across all areas of our business. From choosing energy efficient server components for our customer offerings to reducing power consumption in our global reaching offices, becoming "green" has never been more important to us. Most importantly, Solar VPS is partnering with other green-centric companies to educate others and promote the ideas of green computing and green living. To address our new energy conserving corporate standards, we developed a brand to symbolize our green initiaitives called "SolarGreen".
The name SolarGreen was chosen to signify our efforts to become green and stay green. While we don't claim to have all the answers to being environmentally responsible, we understand that it is important for all small businesses in the United States and across the world to do their part to save our planet. In order to do our part, we developed the iniative around 3 goals including Reducing Customer Energy Consumption, Reducing Company Energy Consumption and Supporting Green Efforts.
